An  affirmed  Confirmation by Minnesota Vikings owner, Ziggi Wolf, puts all of the waffling and retirement whispers to rest. Now, it's just the anxiety and excitement of seeing Brett Favre in purple come his return, Despite a definite return the specifications of Brett Favre's return is not definite. Most likely, Brett Favre will just skip training camp to arrive for the 1st regular season game on September 9 Vs The New Orleans Saints. Just skip all of the preparation Brett , sure, we don't care. But come that Sunday Vs the Saints you better put your heart into that game to redeem that misjudged throw that banished our chances of winning the Superbowl last year. With all of the pieces, once again, all in place [Except for Harvin and Rice both with ailments: a hip and chronic migraines]
the Vikings path to the Dallas this year is a s clear as daylight. Favre will return but wil his favorite target, Sidney Rice, be able to perform the way he did last season? Can Bernard Berrian Bounce back from a slumpy season? Can Percy Harvin Handle Brett's Velocity and fit in with the team [no mishaps]? How about the bumpy, traveled road between Brett and Brad Childress? Can they communicate effectively for the Team's well-being? I mean c',on it's not about who's wearing the pants, as far play calling is concerned, it's about winning football games consistently on a level where stars and coaches can work to their potential alongside each other. As far as the last play vs The New Orleans Saints I'd like to know who designed a slash route up the middle linebacker pocket when all we needed was a dump pass to the sidelines for a few more yards, or not even having Longwell's 50 yard boot in our possession. From there then, I'd like to think that he should be reprehended of lead play calling if holding that position.

Looking forward to this 2010-2011 NFL season with Favre and company, let's take a look at our strengths in order of  greatness this Year:

1. Defensive Line We have considerable depth at defensive line. We are stacked as far as size, power, experience, not to mention depth. Jared Allen, The Williams Wall, Udeze, Henderson, and Company. I believe that our defensive line is our team's greatest strength.

2. Quarterback: With Brett Favre back we have a top 5 quarterback for this NFL season. With Brett Favre under center things feel a lot more certain as far as ,making the postseason and Superbowl.

3. Wide Receivers: This year our offense is stacked as well: Percy
Harvin;great, young talent, Sidney rice; great hands and leaping ability, Bernard Berrian; experience and dependability. Our wide receiving core has perfect concoction for versatility, as far as the play calling is concerned, and success.I believe that all we need to do is throw the ball more frequently  to Visante Shiancoe down the middle , like done last year, and take a few more deep threats to stretch the defenses to allow Adrian Peterson to have another break-out season.

4. Running Back: Adrian Peterson , coming off an average season, beter be looking to emulate his 1st three seasons and stop fumbling  because he cannot be a liability come play-off time. Adrian Peterson was the leading cause in our Play-off loss Vs The New Orleans Saints. This year, however, Peterson is going  to come back more hungry and experienced and we all know what a beast Adrian Peterson come game time.

5. Offensive line: LG: Steve Hutchinson ,LT Bryant McKinnie, RG: Anthony Herrera ,C: John Sullivan
RT: Phil Loadholt,  and number 6 lineman OL: Ryan Cook. Were stacked with veteran leadership, pro bowl experience, and big, long lineman that haven't yet fine tuned their potential but are well on their way. Were one of the highest paid lines anyway, and they protected Brett Favre amicably last year.

6. Linebackers: Although our defensive line is pretty rock solid, I like our chances against the ruin this season with these tackle gobblers holding down our middle. We have speed, explosiveness, and awareness the three things every line-backing core needs.

SLB: Chad Greenway
Outstanding in coverage and quick wrap-up tackler. Should be getting more Pro Bowl consideration.
MLB: Jasper Brinkley
Was not completely terrible filling in for injured E.J. Henderson last season. Must fight the urge to play east and west rather than downhill.
WLB: Ben Leber
The definition of a solid role player.
4 LB: Heath Farwell
Primary value comes as a special teams standout.

7. Special Teams
K: Ryan Longwell
Has unhappily ceded the kickoff duties to Rhys Lloyd, but won’t be giving up the field goal duties anytime soon. He made 92 percent of his attempts last season.
P: Chris Kluwe

One of the smartest people in the NFL. His punting is fine, too.
8. Backfield: Versatile and formidable are two adjectives to describe our cornerbacks and safeties. Winfield, the star of the cast is backed my Johnson and Williams all very speedy and good at containing the play. They may be no shut-down corners or Safeties but they can sure blitz and stop the run at will.
CB: Antoine Winfield
Broken foot basically ruined his ’09 campaign. The best run-defending corner in the game, but at 33 he must prove he’s not running low on gas.
SS: Tyrell Johnson
Good straight-line speed, but coaches want to see the highly-touted ’08 second-round pick make more plays.
FS: Madieu Williams
High-character leader off the field. Lately, has been a tad too quiet on the field. Understands Leslie Frazier’s Tampa 2 scheme well.
CB: Cedric Griffin
Finally figured out how to be at least a borderline-elite cover corner last season. However, tore his ACL in Conference Title Game and may begin year on PUP.
NB: Lito Sheppard
Has become a maligned journeyman, but Vikings realize he was a two-time Pro Bowler when he played in an Eagles scheme that was somewhat similar to this one.
6 DB: Chris Cook**
Second-round rookie could see action right away in nickel. If he’s not ready, Benny Sapp and Asher Allen are decent options.
